Hello! We’re Jagger and Alanna, a husband and wife wedding photography and videography team based in Oklahoma.

Our journey started back in 2017, in Tennessee, where we both met and developed a passion for wedding photography and cinematography. After documenting weddings separately for a couple of years, we combined our talents and officially launched Higher Ground Weddings in 2019. The name 'Higher Ground' reflects both our faith and our love for the mountains. In 2020, during the midst of the pandemic, we went full-time with our dream job and have been capturing weddings across Oklahoma and beyond ever since.

We have two beautiful daughters and we are so grateful for a job that we not only love, but that also allows us both to be present with our children. We’re grateful to serve couples by documenting their love stories with intentionality, creativity, and authenticity. Whether it’s an intimate elopement or a large wedding celebration, we’re passionate about capturing the moments that matter most and creating timeless photo and video collections our couples can treasure forever.

Some fun facts about us:


-First and foremost, we are Christ followers. God has truly been so good to us in every aspect of our lives and we know He is the reason we get blessed with so many kind and lovely couples to work with every year.


-When we aren't out filming/photographing or editing a wedding, you can find us spending our days outside with our girls.


-We both love sports and grew up playing and being involved in sports our whole lives. We are big Thunder basketball fans and Jagger is a Chiefs fan.


-Things we love to do as a family: ride bikes, hike, go camping, play pickle-ball, read, swim, and have daily dance parties.
