Hello! We’re Jagger and Alanna, a husband and wife wedding photography and videography team based in Oklahoma.
Our journey started back in 2017 at college in Tennessee, where Alanna was studying photography and Jagger quickly developed a passion for cinematography. After documenting weddings separately for a few years, we combined our talents and officially launched Higher Ground Weddings in 2019. Our business name reflects both our faith and our love for the mountains, two things that continue to inspire our work. In 2020, we took a leap of faith and went full-time, capturing weddings across Oklahoma, Utah, and beyond.
Since then, our business and family have grown side-by-side. We’ve welcomed two beautiful daughters, spent time living and working in southern Utah, and eventually returned home to Oklahoma to be closer to family. Today, we’re grateful to serve couples by documenting their love stories with intentionality, creativity, and authenticity. Whether it’s an intimate elopement or a large wedding celebration, we’re passionate about capturing the moments that matter most and creating timeless photo and video collections our couples can treasure forever.

Some fun facts about us:
-We are first and foremost Believers. We are actively involved in our church and feel that God has truly been so good to us to to bless us with our dream job and dream couples.
-When we aren't out filming/photographing or editing a wedding, you can find us spending our days outside in any way we can
-We both love sports. We are big Thunder basketball fans and Jagger is a huge Chiefs fan (R.I.P. Superbowl 2025), but not a bandwagon one. Like he loved them when they were terrible so it's okay he still loves them
-Things we love to do as a family: hike, ride bikes, camp, play pickle-ball, snowboard, swim, zoo trips, and go to parks with our littles.
